Linda S. Young

Linda S. Young of Euless, Texas, has owned and managed her own accounting firm for more than 40 years. She recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of earning a degree from LSU, completing her master’s in higher education administration and graduating in December 2024. 

As an undergraduate at LSU, she served as a transfer student advisor and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma in the College of Business. She and her husband, Ron (LSU Civil Engineering, ’69), have spent more than 35 years as alumni volunteers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, recruiting students to LSU and raising scholarship funds. 

Linda is a past president of the DFW LSU Alumni Association and a recipient of the LSU Alumni Chapter Leadership Award. She served on the Forever LSU Dallas steering committee and on the LSU College of Business North Texas committee for the Fierce for the Future campaign. She is currently a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the E. J. Ourso College of Business and joined the LSU Foundation National Board in 2024. 

She and Ron have been married for 56 years, and their three children are all LSU graduates.
