Joseph Britt

​​Headshot of Joseph Britt, LSU Foundation National Board Member.With more than 25 years of supply chain experience, Britt is currently a senior regional procurement manager for Westlake Corp. He has spent most of his career in the petrochemical industry and is actively involved in his community and profession. He served as board secretary and treasurer for the Capital Area United Way, as well as a board chair and a finance committee member for the Ascension Parish Chamber of Commerce. He is a former Reading Friend with Volunteers in Public Schools and has also completed the Changemakers program with New Schools for Baton Rouge. Britt completed the Pelican Leadership Academy with The Pelican Institute and is a member of the 2020 class of Leadership Louisiana. 

Most importantly, Britt enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and coaching his son Wells’ basketball team. He serves as a lector at St. Aloysius Church, leads the Readers Ministry, and is a member of the finance committee. 

Britt holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of Houston. He also earned a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Florida. He holds the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation with the Institute for Supply Management.
