Bethany Robicheaux began her career at the LSU Foundation in 2023 as the Associate Director of Stewardship. Her role aims to accomplish the three essential elements of stewardship: say welcome and thank you, show impact of a donors gift, and honor the gift agreement. Bethany has her undergraduate degree in Communications from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, MN and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the E.J. Ourso College of Business.
MY LSU
Why did you choose to build a career with the LSU Foundation?
As an undergraduate I worked for our annual fund call center and led our graduation
campaign my senior year. I have always loved the world of higher education, and after
17 years on the K-12 side of education, it was the right next step for me to join
staff at the LSU Foundation and kindle this passion of mine that I have had for over
20 years.
What does a typical day look like for you?
There is no typical day; one of the best parts of the stewardship side of the house
is that our work is to be responsive to donors and development officers. This means
that our plan for the day often changes based on the needs of serving our constituents.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
The field in front of the Natatorium. This may sound odd, but when I moved to Louisiana,
it was where I attended my first tailgate and met my husband two years later. I pass
by it daily on the way to the office, which always makes me smile.
