| Members of the LSU Foundation underwrite the work of the Foundation by making unrestricted contributions of $2,000 or more per year to the Foundation's operating fund. Associate membership is $1,000 annually per individual or married couple and is open to individuals under the age of 40 and LSU faculty and staff; up to half of the amount may be restricted to other LSU purposes. These funds support the development services the Foundation provides for the University as well as Foundation Distinguished Professorships and other priority programs of the chancellors and the president of the LSU System. Additional recognition as Foundation Patrons and Stewards is accorded to those members who made further contributions during 2003 to the operating fund or to any of the Foundation accounts. |
